Extend the life of your candles with these helpful tips!

Proper candle care is essential for maximizing the enjoyment and longevity of your candles. To ensure an even burn and prevent tunneling, it is recommended to allow the initial burn to melt the wax evenly to all edges for a duration of 2-4 hours. This practice helps to achieve a clean and efficient burn, enhancing the overall experience of your candle.

Before each use, it is important to trim the wick to ¼ inch. This simple step helps to avoid soot and smoke, ensuring a cleaner burn and a more pleasant ambiance. A well-maintained wick contributes to the candle's performance and fragrance throw.

When burning candles, safety should always be the priority. Limit the burn time to a maximum of 4 hours to prevent overheating and ensure the candle remains safe to use. Never leave a burning candle unattended, as this can pose a fire hazard. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, children, and pets. This precaution helps to create a safe environment while enjoying the warm glow and delightful scents of your candles.

 


Recycle

Once your candle has burned down, you may find yourself with spent jars that can be repurposed. Cleaning these jars is easy; you can freeze them to remove leftover wax or wash them with warm, soapy water.  

After cleaning, these jars can be creatively reused as storage containers, planters for small plants, or even as decorative vases. This not only reduces waste but also allows you to enjoy the beauty of your candle jars long after the candle has been used.

All our candles are made with 100% all-natural U.S. grown soy wax and are free from additives, paraffin and dyes.

We use the highest quality of phthalate-free fragrance oils.

The wicks are lead-free and made with cotton for a non-toxic candle burning experience.

Where do you ship to?  

We currently only ship within the United States. 

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on items within 14 days of you receiving your order. Please contact us first to initiate a return request. Items must be packed securely to ensure they arrive back to us in good condition.

Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value items, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.

How long will it take to process my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund promptly. Please allow a few business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

What if I have another question about my return?
If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us for assistance. 
 
What happens if my package is lost or stolen? 
If your package is incorrectly delivered by the carrier (UPS/USPS) or is stolen after delivery, Esencia Candle Co. is not responsible. In this event, you should file a claim directly with the shipping carrier for a refund.
 
What if I entered the wrong shipping address? 
If you enter an incorrect address at checkout, the package will be returned to us.
You will be required to pay an $8.95 re-shipping fee to have the package sent to the correct address.
